let's talk some moreLet’s Talk Notes – Week of November 25, 2012

Message:        "Agree with One Another"

Scripture:        1 Corinthians 1:10-11

1)   What was your favorite memory from this year’s Thanksgiving?

2)   As you reflect back on last weekend’s sermon, what one principle or insight stands out as being particularly helpful, insightful or difficult to grasp? Were you challenged in any area of your personal walk with God?

3)   Read Genesis 11:1-9; Nehemiah 2:17-18. How can agreement be used for either good or bad purposes? How do you know whether something that you want to do is towards a good or bad purpose? How can you avoid using agreement for ungodly purposes?

4)   How does your knowledge of the Word of God affect your ability to walk in agreement and to speak the same thing as other Christian believers? What are some ways that you can allow the Word of God to be at the center of your life?

5)   Have you ever noticed that the more time that you spend with others, the more that you tend to pick up their patterns and behaviors? If so, how? How can spending time with God’s people allow you to stand in agreement with God’s principles?

6)   What are some of the blessings that come with Godly agreement.
Read Matthew 18:19-20; Psalms 133:1-3; Acts 2:1-4; Acts 2:32-35; 1 John 14:15.

7)   How can you contribute towards building unity and agreement at Mars Hill Fellowship Church?
