As a continuation on our church's focus on racial reconciliation and the gospel, Mars Hill Fellowship Church will be joining with our sister-church for worship on Sunday, February 11th at 10:15 AM. During the service, Pastor Joseph & Pastor Josh will moderate a panel discussion with two guests from the Chicago, Illinois area: Pastors Shaun Marshall and David Swanson.
Shaun loves to help people see how God is at work by preaching, teaching, and coaching. He has been instrumental in leading denominational efforts toward racial reconciliation, first as a pastor in both Detroit and Calumet Park, Illinois and now as the founder of Manifest. Shaun currently serves as the National Director of Congregational Vitality for the Evangelical Covenant Church. In this role, Shaun provides leadership, resources and support to churches seeking healthy missional change.
David is the Senior Pastor of New Community Covenant Church in Bronzeville, Chicago, Illinois. David is responsible for cultivating vision, equipping servant leaders, and leading community formation through preaching, leadership, and pastoral care.
Pastor Joseph has asked all of the Mars Hill Fellowship family to be in attendance.
