About Founder's Weekend
Mars Hill Fellowship Church is a community of believers who passionately love God with all of their heart, soul, mind, and strength and love their neighbors as themselves because they have been TRANSFORMED by the power of the gospel. The reality of the gospel enables us to connect to God, our family + community, our vocation and our world in a meaningful way.
Each year at Mars Hill Fellowship Church, we set aside one weekend to pause, reflect, rejoice, and give thanks for all that God has done in the life of our church.

Saturday - Family + Friends Picnic-Fellowship
Our Family + Friends Picnic is a great opportunity to fellowship together at the beautiful Arsenal Park. The Park is located at 485 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472 (Next to the Arsenal Mall). We will be located by the covered pavillion and playground area. Free parking is available.
We will have lots of great bbq food, board + card games, volleyball + badminton and fun.
Driving from Boston
Take Storrow Drive West. Pass the Harvard Square exit and then get in the left lane. Bear left at the Rt. 2 interchange onto Soldier's Field Road, following the signs for Newton (do not cross the Eliot Bridge to Cambridge).
Continue on Soldier's Field Road through Herter Park, Days Hotel (on the left) and the Henderson Boathouse. Take the exit for Arsenal St. on the right. (If you see Staples and IHOP, you've gone too far).
At the top of the exit, make a right onto Arsenal St. Travel 0.6 Miles on Arsenal St passing the Watertown Mall (on the right) and Arsenal Mall (on the left). Just before the traffic light at Arsenal Ct., there is an entranceway to the Arsenal Park. (It is slightly hidden). Make a left into the park. Parking is available in the park area or also behind Marshalls in the Arsenal Mall.
Driving from the West
Take the MassPike Eastbound to exit 18 (Cambridge/Allston, a left exit). Take the right branch of the ramp (Cambridge/Somerville), then stay as far left as possible and turn left at the second set of lights onto Storrow Drive West (immediately before crossing the river — don't cross the river).
After about 1.5 miles, bear left onto Soldier's Field Road, following the signs for Newton (do not cross the Eliot Bridge to Cambridge).

Public Transportation
Take the Red Line to the Central Square Startion. Exit to street level and walk to bus station (Green St. and Magazine St.) Take bus #70, towards Cedarwood via Watertown & Waltham. Ride approximately 15 minutes to the Watertown + Arsenal Mall Stop. Cross Arsenal St. to walk towards the Arsenal Mall and walk to the back of the mall and enter Arsenal Park.
Van Transportation
If you will need transportation from Harvard Square to Herter Park. A van shuttle is available at 12:00Noon and another shuttle at 1:30 PM. The van will leave from the Holiday Inn Brookline. Please email or call (617) 433-8917 to reserve your space on the van.
